Trenton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Taylor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Trojans will take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Trenton is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Roosevelt hit Trenton with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans fell 5-2 to the Bears.

Taylor came out on top against Inter-City Baptist on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Chargers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Taylor's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Trenton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Trenton's way against Taylor in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Trenton made off with a 14-3 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
