Soccer Recap: Danville Gets the Win

Danville proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Herron Achaeans 2-1. Given Danville's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Herron are ranked 207th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 4-5-4. As for Herron, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Danville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Crawfordsville on the 2nd. As for Herron, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Purdue Polytechnic on the 2nd.
