Baseball Game Preview: Pitman Pride vs. Jesuit Marauders

The Pitman Pride will head out on the road to square off against the Jesuit Marauders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pitman is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Pitman came up short against Turlock and fell 6-1.

Pitman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Walker, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Jesuit finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell 4-1 to Granite Bay.

Jesuit also got a good showing from Teddy Rios, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Rios has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Pitman, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.
