Soccer Recap: Holy Family Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pittsburg last Thursday, Holy Family Academy came back down to earth. Holy Family Academy fell just short of the Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Holy Family Academy of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Holy Family Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Family Academy will venture away from home to square off against Groveton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Family Academy are facing Groveton at the right time seeing as Groveton are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they will head out to face off against Littleton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
