Softball Recap: Coventry Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Coventry barely beat Ravenna the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Ravens on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Coventry's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Ravenna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coventry will welcome Streetsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ravenna, they will host McKinley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.64 runs per game on average), something the Ravens will no doubt try to take advantage of.
