Normandy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They snuck past the Oakwood Academy Mustangs with a 59-55 win. The 59-point effort marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Despite the loss, Oakwood Academy still got an impressive performance from Dylon Pognon, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadon Williams, who went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Normandy's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Oakwood Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.
