Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Cedartown's Winning Streak

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four matches, Cedartown finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Woodland Wildcats, falling 4-1. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Bulldogs it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Chasity Washington, who's now up to six this season.

Cedartown moved to 4-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four games. As for Woodland, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Cedartown wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Hiram on the 7th. As for Woodland, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-2 defeat against Dalton on the 7th.
