She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brianna Dobnak, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Giana Foster, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Serra Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Ellis fell victim to Jeannette and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Jayhawks, falling 15-0.
Ellis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Serra Catholic, their record now sits at 9-4.
Ellis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Serra Catholic has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .510. It's a different story for Ellis, though, as they've only averaged .321. Will they be able to contain Serra Catholic's hitters?
Everything went Serra Catholic's way against Ellis when the teams last played on April 8th, as Serra Catholic made off with a 17-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
