Baseball Game Preview: Henry County Wildcats vs. Gallatin County Wildcats

For the second straight game, Henry County will face off against Gallatin County. Henry County will take on Gallatin County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Henry County has lost three straight at home , while Gallatin County has lost 11 on the road (dating back to last season).

Henry County's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Gallatin County 17-0. Considering Henry County has won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Baylor Nolin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Henry County: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-9 otherwise.

In other batting news, Nicholas Bryan was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Henry County's success: when he posts at least one home run the team is undefeated (and 6-11 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jaylan Hortenbury, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.
