Basketball Recap: Soldan International Studies Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Soldan International Studies was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gateway Tech Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 50-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Soldan International Studies' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Gateway Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Soldan International Studies will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Gateway Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 76-48 defeat against Edwardsville on the 24th.
