Basketball Recap: Cody Cairo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Peck over All Saints Central

Peck was the 56-41 winner over All Saints Central when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Peck Pirates received a blow on Friday as they fell 49-35 to the All Saints Central Cougars. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peck's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cody Cairo, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Heiden, who scored 11 points and five boards.

Peck's record is now 10-12. As for All Saints Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Peck does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for All Saints Central, they will host Meridian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
