Basketball Recap: Yelm Comes Up Short

Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-32 loss at the hands of the Bonney Lake Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornados this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-8 back in December of 2024.

Yelm's record is now 1-13. As for Bonney Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Yelm will challenge Timberline at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bonney Lake, they will square off against Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
