Volleyball Recap: Elgin's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Elgin got their first taste of in-conference action on Saturday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Clinton Red Tornadoes by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Owls: when they faced off against the Red Tornadoes back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Elgin's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-23. As for Clinton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Elgin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Minco on the 20th. As for Clinton, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Amber-Pocasset on the 20th.
