Basketball Recap: Conway Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Aynor

Conway Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 34-24 to the Aynor Blue Jackets on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Terianna Richardson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (six). Another player making a difference was Elisha Huffman, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Conway Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 28-17 loss against Christian Academy on the 24th. As for Aynor, they have also already played their next contest, a 45-22 victory against Green Sea Floyds on the 24th.
