Basketball Recap: Euclid Comes Up Short

Euclid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Medina Battling Bees, falling 69-27. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 651st, while the Battling Bees are ranked 19th).

Euclid's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Medina, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Euclid will challenge Garrett Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Medina, they will face off against Magnificat at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
