Softball Recap: Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls vs. Lansdale Catholic Crusaders

Archbishop Ryan blew Lansdale Catholic out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Lansdale Catholic got their revenge. The Raiders and Ragdolls fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 7-5. The Raiders and Ragdolls just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Moira Maw put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was her first of the season.
