Broadway and Spotswood are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Gobblers will host the Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Broadway is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Broadway and Harrisonburg had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Gobblers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Blue Streaks on Thursday. The game was the first time the Gobblers have beaten the Blue Streaks on their court since October 4, 2022.

Meanwhile, Spotswood came up short against William Monroe on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Spotswood ultimately came up short, they really made William Monroe work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 17-25, 27-25.

Broadway's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Spotswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Broadway skirted past Spotswood 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Gobblers repeat their success, or do the Trailblazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
