Softball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Albany can now relate to. They fell just short of the Clear Lake Cardinals by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Albany saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Snyder, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Snyder has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Albany now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Clear Lake, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clear Lake, they will challenge McKinleyville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
