Basketball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Takes a Loss

Tipton-Rosemark Academy lost against Jackson Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Eagles are ranked 69th).

Tipton-Rosemark Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Jackson Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will head out to challenge Fayette Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Christian, they will face off against McKenzie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
