Basketball Recap: Kokomo Homeschool's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

If Kokomo HomeSchool was riding high fresh off their 75-48 takedown of Anderson HomeSchool last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles fell 62-55 to the Metro Academy Mavericks on Monday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Kokomo HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from David Hart, who shot 56% from the field en route to 27 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Hart a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Hogsett, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points.

Kokomo HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 30-10. As for Metro Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-14 record this season.

Kokomo HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-67 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 11th. As for Metro Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-42 defeat against Memphis Home Education Association on the 11th.
