The stars were shining brightly for Innovation Academy in a 80-65 victory over Neighborhood House Charter. The win made it back-to-back wins for Innovation Academy.
Derrick Twum was on fire: he scored 39 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Innovation Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Kankam, who scored 22 points.
Despite the loss, Neighborhood House Charter still got an impressive performance from Tavon Rhodes, who scored 50 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. The game was Rhodes' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Juelz McGhee was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
Innovation Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Neighborhood House Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
