Soccer Recap: Albemarle Wins Going Away Against Monacan

On TuesdayMonacan kept up with Albemarle until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Albemarle Patriots were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Monacan Chiefs.

Albemarle hit Monacan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Declan Wolfe (2), Adrian Park, and Jacob Brazie.

Albemarle now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Monacan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Albemarle will be playing in front of their home fans against Orange County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monacan, they are taking a road trip to face off against Clover Hill at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
