Basketball Recap: Novato Takes a Loss

Novato was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Branson Bulls, falling 73-36. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

Novato's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Amilcar, who posted eight points.

Novato's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Branson, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

Novato didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-33 defeat against Marin Catholic on the 4th. As for Branson, they have also already played their next game, a 57-42 win against Terra Linda on the 5th.
