Basketball Recap: Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Takes a Loss

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill lost against Mexico back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mexico Tigers. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mexico, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will welcome Cortland at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Cortland will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Vernon-Verona-Sherrill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mexico, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chittenango at 6:40 p.m.
