Football Recap: Clinton Piles Up the Points Against Mena

Clinton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Mena Bearcats 41-7. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 24-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Mena, they dropped their record down to 6-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clinton is set to face off against their familiar foe Ozark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mena will challenge rival Dardanelle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
