Volleyball Recap: Windsor Beats Bishop O'dowd for Their 11th Straight Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Windsor rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons. The win was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won 11 contests in a row.

While Windsor might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bishop O'Dowd scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-20, 20-25, 25-20.

Ava Rush was nothing short of spectacular: she had 27 digs and three aces. Those 27 digs gave her a new career-high.

Rush wasn't the only good servers: Windsor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 13 consecutive matches.

Windsor's record now sits at 22-6. As for Bishop O'Dowd, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-15.

Coming up, Windsor will be playing at home against Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop O'Dowd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
