Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Battle). They breezed by the Ridgeview Wolfpack to the tune of 66-33 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

John Battle's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Ridgeview, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Battle will be home for the holidays to greet Union at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Union will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something John Battle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ridgeview, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Abingdon at 8:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
