Basketball Game Preview: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Boise Brave

The Ridgevue Warhawks are taking a road trip to take on the Boise Brave at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgevue is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.

Ridgevue is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Borah just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 45-28 to the Lions. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Lions are ranked seventh).

Ridgevue's loss came about despite a quality game from Emma Bratvold, who posted six points and four steals. Myra Martinez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Boise beat Kuna 61-54 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Brave.

Boise's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Ridgevue, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
