Basketball Game Preview: Robinson Bulldogs vs. Concord Spiders

The Robinson Bulldogs will square off against the Concord Spiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Robinson comes in on six and Concord on five.

Last Tuesday, Robinson didn't have too much trouble with Carson as they won 88-69.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Concord ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against Northwest Cabarrus by a score of 72-64.

Robinson better keep an eye on Jayden Beyan. He was instrumental in Concord's win, going 9-for-18 on his way to 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Tyvonta Rushmeyer was another key player, going 6-for-12 en route to 18 points and six assists.

Robinson pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points over those games. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.

Everything went Robinson's way against Concord when the teams last played on February 4th, as Robinson made off with a 78-56 win. Does Robinson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concord turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
