Basketball Recap: Nordheim's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Flatonia, Nordheim was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They secured a 48-42 W over the Three Rivers Bulldogs. The win was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Nordheim's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Three Rivers, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Nordheim didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-23 loss against D'Hanis on the 13th. Three Rivers has also already played their next matchup, a 47-36 defeat against San Isidro on the 13th.
