Volleyball Game Preview: Cascade Cadets vs. Decatur Central Hawks

The Cascade Cadets are taking a road trip to square off against the Decatur Central Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Cascade came up short against Edgewood and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Decatur Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Plainfield, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-11.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Decatur Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Cascade was able to grind out a solid victory over Decatur Central when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cadets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
