Softball Recap: Millington Takes a Loss

The Millington Cardinals didn't have quite enough to beat the Adams Highlanders on Saturday and fell 6-4. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reese Holmes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Matusik, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Millington's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Adams, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Millington will welcome Reese at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Adams, they are taking a road trip to square off against Notre Dame Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
