Jefferson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over the Stephens County Indians. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dragons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Indians are ranked 121st).

Jefferson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Chance Payne, Dylan Berardinelli, and Shyne Parham picked up one apiece. Payne has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times he's played.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Stephens County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will take on North Oconee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Stephens County, they will challenge Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
