Baseball Game Preview: Jordan Warriors vs. Paetow Panthers

The Jordan Warriors will challenge the Paetow Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Jordan will be strutting in after a victory while Paetow will be coming in after a defeat.

Jordan proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out College Park 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since February 20th.

Cole Keppler was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Paetow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Katy Taylor.

Jordan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Paetow, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14-1.
