Basketball Recap: Regis Takes a Loss

Regis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 56-39 bruising from the St. Mary's Gaels. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gaels from their previous meeting back in December of 2014.

Regis now has a losing record at 8-9. As for St. Mary's, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Regis will challenge Fordham Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for St. Mary's, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Holy Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
