Soccer Game Preview: Oregon vs. Lutheran

The Oregon Hawks will square off against the Lutheran Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Oregon is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Genoa-Kingston on Thursday. The Hawks fell just short of the Mascot by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Lutheran entered their tilt with Stillman Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1.

Stella Stubbe and Laney Carlson scored all three of Lutheran's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Oregon's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Oregon got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Lutheran by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
