Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian). They took down the Piedmont Academy Cougars 63-44 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Crusaders, who suffered a 53-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Piedmont Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corbett Crews, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Moss, who earned 12 points.

The win got Trinity Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Piedmont Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-52 victory against Thomas Jefferson Academy on the 1st. As for Piedmont Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Westfield School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
