Gus Petterson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out two batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Petterson's effort led Loyalton over Tulelake and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
