After a string of five wins, Southern Lehigh's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bangor Slaters by a score of 8-7. Surprisingly, this marked the Spartans' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Lila Padden made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Isabella Germani was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Southern Lehigh's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Bangor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Southern Lehigh wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 loss against Palisades on the 28th. As for Bangor, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Notre Dame-Green Pond on the 28th.
