Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Raiders vs. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers

The Windsor Locks Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 71-52 to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Windsor Locks has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Windsor Locks still got an impressive performance from Kyle Hinckley, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Grasso, who scored 13 points.

Windsor Locks struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Windsor Locks' loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Windsor Locks will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Spartans at 6:45 p.m. Somers is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, they will challenge the Warriors at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Canton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Tigers are ranked 30th).
