It was a proper cat-fight when Hillcrest faced off against Molina on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Thursday.

Joshua Pepper looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lincoln Hunter was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jean Pierre Paternina, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Hillcrest and bumps their season record up to 26-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Molina, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19-1.

As of now, neither Hillcrest nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
