Softball Recap: Southern Guilford Takes a Loss

Southern Guilford lost against Ledford back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Southern Guilford Storm came up short against the Ledford Panthers, falling 17-1. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern Guilford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenly Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Southern Guilford now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ledford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Guilford will host Ben L. Smith at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Ledford, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ledford Panthers take on Eastern Randolph Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. They are facing Eastern Randolph at the right time seeing as Eastern Randolph is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
