Softball Recap: Ravenwood Raptors vs. Centennial Cougars
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ravenwood). Everything went their way against the Centennial Cougars on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-7 victory. The Raptors haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Campbell Raphael tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk).
At the plate, Ravenwood got a massive performance out of Rowan Wilson, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one triple. That triple marked the first that Wilson has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Garland Kay Daniel, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
