Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds vs. Forge Christian Fury

The Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds are taking a road trip to face off against the Forge Christian Fury at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Windsor Charter Academy lost 3-0 to Mountain View on Thursday. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian came up short against Eagle Ridge Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Fury in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

While Forge Christian had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Windsor Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Forge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Windsor Charter Academy skirted past Forge Christian 3-2 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Firebirds since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
