Basketball Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Falls Short of Wilson in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Plymouth Whitemarsh can now relate to. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Bulldogs. The Colonials have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Despite the loss, Plymouth Whitemarsh had strong showings from Mani Sajid, who posted 18 points, and Michael Pererira, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Sajid has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Micah Thompson, who had four points.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Plymouth Whitemarsh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, they will take on McDowell on Wednesday. McDowell will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wilson surely won't give up without a fight.
