Basketball Recap: Mishawaka Falls Short of South Bend Riley in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mishawaka can now relate to. They came up short against the South Bend Riley Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 62-40. The Cavemen just can't catch a break and have now endured 12 losses in a row.

Mishawaka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for South Bend Riley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Mishawaka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Bend Riley, they will square off against South Bend Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Bend Riley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully South Bend Adams likes a good challenge.
