Football Recap: Hebbronville Triumphs

After losing to Santa Gertrudis Academy the last time they met, Hebbronville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Longhorns walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Lions on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Hebbronville's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hebbronville will challenge Carrizo Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 26-3 loss against Robstown on the 11th.
