Football Game Preview: St. George's Gryphons vs. Grace Christian Academy Rams + Official Tickets

The St. George's Gryphons will head out to square off against the Grace Christian Academy Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, St. George's came up short against Evangelical Christian and fell 25-14. The Gryphons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, while Grace Christian Academy put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Notre Dame. The Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fighting Irish 42-0. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Fighting Irish: they've now won four in a row.

St. George's better focus on containing JV Stinson and Jace Ballard as the pair were huge in Grace Christian Academy's win. Stinson rushed for 153 yards and one score while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, while Ballard rushed for 43 yards and three TDs.

Grace Christian Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Notre Dame to a completion percentage of just 43.5%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Kaden Webber, Evan Pritchard, and Pete White, who each logged one passes deflected. Grace Christian Academy has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.62 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.62 in their last three games.

St. George's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Grace Christian Academy, their record is now 8-2.
