Basketball Game Preview: Georgetown Eagles vs. Killeen Kangaroos

The Georgetown Eagles will head out to face off against the Killeen Kangaroos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Georgetown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Pflugerville Connally 65-19. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Killeen, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They secured a 54-49 W over Legacy Ranch on Tuesday.

The win got Georgetown back to even at 8-8. As for Killeen, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Georgetown beat Killeen 52-39 when the teams last played back in December of 2019. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kangaroos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
