Soccer Recap: Gulf Coast Comes Up Short

Gulf Coast was the 3-2 winner over American Heritage when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Gulf Coast Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Heritage Patriots on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Sharks have lost by exactly two goals.

Gulf Coast now has a losing record at 6-7-1. As for American Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-4.

Gulf Coast will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Verot at 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2025. American Heritage will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Gulliver Prep at 3:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
